California Faucets: When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Innovate

California Faucets is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this year, but over the last three years, this manufacturer of high end bathroom products and accessories has been innovating it’s way through the ‘Great Recession.’  Fred Silverstein and his team have drawn a line in the ‘luxury plumbing products’ sand, by creating products like the StyleTherm ThermoStatic Valve, the StyleDrain Tile, the Ceraline Linear Shower Drain and company’s latest product line, StyleFlow, which incorporates the company’s proprietary Swiss Shower Technology into an invigorating shower experience.

StyleTherm Thermostatic Valves

Most valves that turn showers on & off in the United States are pressure balanced, which means that they can only factor in changes in pressure, so if one water source is turned on, the pressure valve will decrease the pressure for any other devices that are running, as a way to minimize any sudden increase or decrease in temperature.  You might not experience thermal shock, but your overall pressure has been compromised.  The thermostatic valve is designed to understand both pressure and temperature, which provides for volume control, anti-scald safety protection, and exact water temperature setting.  California Faucets’ StyleTherm is the Cadillac in thermostatic valve technology. It provides a world class system at an affordable price and California Faucets stand by the their valves with limited lifetime warranties.

StyleDrain Tile

California Faucets single-handedly created the ‘luxury drain’ category.  If the StyleDrains weren’t unique enough, they decided to incorporate a tile into this system. This drain allows for an inlay of any tile or stone to match the surrounding flooring, thus creating the illusion of water disappearing into the floor.

StyleDrain Tile drains up to ten gallons of water per minute, while it creates a smooth, foot-friendly surface with no sharp edges.

CeraLine Linear Shower Drain

CeraLine comes in three cover-plate trim styles. Metro Trim displays a less-is-more profile for a simple, graceful effect, while Edge Trim features an extra stainless steel veneer for a crisp, streamlined look and for a fine, integrated appearance that is nearly seamless, Custom Trim can be set with tile to match the flooring décor.

StyleFlow

The Swiss are known for precision, so why not incorporate that into the shower experience. California Faucets has created the proprietary Swiss Shower Technology (SST), which features up to four individual spray functions for optimal flow flexibility. StyleFlow SST showers are handcrafted and artisan-finished in Huntington, California.

Not only are the folks at California Faucets producing award winning product lines that incorporate environmentally friendly features, they use a state-of-the-art process that molecularly bonds the finish to the faucet, creating a super-hard surface.  This process is called Physical Vapor Disposition or PVD and they stand behind it for life.
